Jurassic Walk Event

On Friday 30 July we are having a walk on the Jurassic coast led by Andy Pedrick. This will be a 1 1/2 hour casual, social walk with great views in all directions and followed by a BBQ at the Scott Arms.

Enjoy a leisurely, informative walk to the highest point on The Purbeck Hills – Swyre Head where you will see great views in all directions, to Portland, Poole Harbour and the Isle of Wight. This is a very easy walk and then we proceed back to The Scott Arms in Kingston for their BBQ while overlooking Corfe Castle and the surrounding hills towards Poole Harbour.

Meet up at 18:00 for an 18:15 start with the BBQ at 20:00.

Next Meeting

At the Inn on the Cliff, East Overcliff, Bournemouth BH1 3AP at 7:15 am for 7:45 am. We aim to conclude the formal meeting between 9:00 and 9:15, though attendees are welcome to continue networking beyond this time if they wish.

As usual, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to network with everyone else attending, so please bring a good supply of business cards and don’t forget to remind your guests to do the same.

Breakfast

Breakfast, from the buffet, will commence at 7:45 a.m. with a standard menu of: Fruit juice, Grapefruit, Full English Breakfast, including Sausage, Bacon, Egg, Tomato, Fried Bread etc.

If you prefer you can pre-order an alternative directly with the hotel. The alternatives are: Smoked Mackerel, Smoked Kipper, Cereals, Cold Ham & Tomato. Call the hotel on 01202 553183 or email them.

Payment for breakfast is £9.00 - please pay at the hotel reception on arrival.
